Our Mission Statement
To raise awareness, offer hope and support for families of children with heart defects and special needs.
The mission of Kyden’s Keepers is based off of the bible verse in Genesis 4:9.
“And the Lord said unto to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
We live in a world where people have become self-absorbed. We are all guilty of at least once turning our heads away from someone in need. People are in need all around us be it emotionally, socially, physically or financially. Need is everywhere and it can be overwhelming, trying to help everyone or support every cause. We have experienced and learned that “one who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” It is important to constructively voice your opinions and support matters of importance.
Kyden’s Keepers wants to be sure to help those in need and teach those in the community how to help. Kyden’s Keepers brings attention to the many illnesses, disabilities and sicknesses among us. Kyden’s Keepers raises awareness and shares information about the various ways we can help our neighbors. Kyden’s Keepers is centered on providing support. It’s important to be aware of what is happening around us. One day, any of us may find ourselves in need and may not know where to turn.
It is our responsibility to be our “brother’s keeper.” People can take care of themselves, but through Kyden’s Keepers, we will show our community we care enough to offer a helping hand when it is needed.
The work of many lightens the load.
Together we can make a positive and significant impact on our community.
